Anyone wishing to take on Sensei Richard's challenge for a chance to take the shield will need to know the following :-

The tiles that need to be broken are Rosemary roof tiles. Tiles need to be provided by challenger

The challenger can only attempt this challenge if he/she raises money for Cancer Research UK.

The challenger needs to be a licensed Martial Artist and must prove with correct papers

Independant witnesses need to be present.

Tiles need to be broken with:- Right Fist,Right Knife Hand, Right Elbow, Left Fist, Left Knife Hand, Left Elbow, Left and Right Feet and Head. The amount the challenger attempts with each strike is not subject to conditions, but, the challenger needs to beat the above standing record to obtain the shield.

The time starts from the first tile broken and stops when the last tile is broken or if the challenger cannot continue.

If the Challenger beats the time they can take the shield for up to 1 year or until their record is broken. However, if the challenger does not beat the time or tiles above he would still be granted his/her name on the shield but not retain the shield.
