Senpai Phill Sedgmond 1st Dan Chief Instructor

& Welsh Clicker Coach

Senpai Phill has been the assistant instructor of Barry Kyokushin Karate Club for 4 years and has trained under Sensei Richard Males for over 10 years. He achived his 1st Dan in July 2008. Senpai Phill has won many tournament titles over the years and more recently won both English and British titles in the same year. Senpai Phill's achievement over the years have been rewarded with the Branch Chief of Wales appointing Senpai Phill as Coach of the Welsh Clicker Team.

 

Peter Hilldrup Treasurer / Assistant

 

Peter Hilldrup joined Barry Kyokushin in 2006 and has been a valuable member of the club. Peter took on the responsibility of Club Treasurer in 2007. Peter will be assisting Senpai Phill at Dinas Powys Kyokushin Karate Club by taking control of club finances and assisting with teaching.

 

 

Melanie Difford Club Secretary

Melanie has just started with Dinas Kyokushin but over the years has helped with secreterial issues with Barry Kyokushin. Melanie will be keeping track of License and Memberships of our students and organising any sessions/events outside our normal dojo training.

 

Staff have regular meetings with Senpai Phill to discus various issues regarding the club, any senior students that wish to attend these meetings are more than welcome, please see your Instructor to find out when these meetings will be taking place.
